Jackson Hill Day, Lincoln Youth Football

Since 2005, Lincoln Youth Football (LYF) has honored Jackson with a fundraising day. In 2005, the team held a silent auction with super cool sports memorabilia items and since 2006, players have raised money through a pledge drive. Because of these efforts, LYF has played an instrumental role in helping fund and build the first Jackson Hill Wellness Center at Randall Children’s Hospital, Legacy Emanuel in Portland, Oregon.

We thank Jackson’s former team, coaches, and families, who continue to help us realize Jackson’s legacy.

Foot Traffic/ Portland Parks Youth XC Championship Meet

Jackson loved to run; beginning when he was 4 years old, first participating in family fun runs on holidays and when older, his mother’s elementary school running programs-cross country and track.

Our foundation is deeply honored to be the beneficiary of the Foot Traffic/Portland Parks Youth XC Championship Meet.

Jackson's Ride the Gorge

It is in tribute to Jackson, and the joy he found in cycling even while battling his illness, that Jackson's Ride the Gorge was founded in 2006. This ride has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to bring awareness of the Jackson Hill Foundation and their efforts to support sarcoma research, patient advocacy and education.

In honor of Jackson's love of sport, and to raise money in his name, net proceeds from Jackson's Ride the Gorge are donated to the Jackson Hill Foundation, which in turn will build Jackson Hill Wellness Center (s).
